Terrific article, Erik. I enjoy your discussions on Macro Voices, perhaps you could ask Joe Rogan or Peter Thiel as a guest.
Horizon Kinetics also recently commented on how China has 21 new reactors being built versus our one. We are certainly beyond the proverbial 8 ball and our government, media and educational systems are more concerned about everything other than would make life better, safer and more affordable in the long run because they only operate in 2 to 4 year cycles.
This is so foolish because we still have demographics on our side but if we do a poor job educating our children to be the next generation of innovating thinkers we will quickly lose our advantage. And you are correct regulations also stifle innovation in all aspects not just nuclear. They are never wisely thought out.
I also agree with the comment with Jonathan above, that Doomberg would be an excellent guest for the future. He has a large following as would Josh Young from Bison Interests on oil and gas.
We like Doomberg but we have a policy of not doing interviews with people hiding behind pseudonyms. Doomberg knows he has an open invitation if/when he ever decides to operate under his legal name.
You could always don a Teenage Mutant Ninja mask or some other mascot or caricature if you invited Doomberg 😉. On a serious note, I understand your
stance on the matter.
I was speaking to someone about nuclear energy yesterday and used many of your points. The person, who I deemed intelligent, thought about it briefly and then extolled the virtues of solar energy as a better solution. I just shook my head and politely walked away.
Side note - I tried to find the link to this article in your weekly roundup email after you said as much in your podcast, but couldn't see it. I got here by googling you.
Erik, Have you tried reaching out to Demetri Kofinas who delivers the outstanding "Hidden Forces' Podcast? I reckon your idea would be a very good fit for his subscribers (I am one!). Having the opportunity to speak to his educated and intellectual audience would undoubtedly be time well spent and would get you wider exposure and potentially increase the chance of connecting and reaching those who might help you to achieve your vision. Good luck, thank you for your attempt to help mankind and I hope your plan gains traction before it is too late!
Demetri is a super guy and I agree Hidden Forces is a great podcast, but he's only a little bigger than MacroVoices. The nuclear energy message needs a Rogan-sized audience. I'd be delighted to do an interview with Demetri if he wants, but we're not going to make a difference with out audience sizes.
Thanks for the advice. I did realize the possibility of making the table in a Word doc and then pasting it in as an image, but from an SEO perspective that would make some of the most important content in the post unsearchable. Weird that substack doesn't allow native tables.

Thank you and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the kind words!

Erik, as always, a world class university grade lecture. Love your passion. A big fan of Macro voices. Keep on keeping on!
I’m quickly becoming convinced that nuclear energy is the way forward. Glad your Substack came my way.
Thanks Anne! Please help spread the word. We need to get this message past little podcasts like mine and out in front of the mainstream.
Outstanding!
Great write up!!
Hi Ela,
Stay tuned. I'm planning to develop quite a bit more content in coming months.
Interesting article, thanks for writing it and your podcast. Have you reached out to Doomberg? or https://www.decouplemedia.org/podcast

Thanks for the feedback Jonathan. I checked the Research Roundup and it's there - right under the link to Ole's chart deck.
My apologies, i was looking for "substack"
You are going to nuke my oil & gas portfolio! Say no to thorium lol. Seriously I appreciate your efforts.
Great content! To the point, yet, very polite.
Do you know any qualifiable resources/trainings to gain some deeper knowledge in the topic? I'd like to understand the mechanics of "how". Thanks!

Thanks Erik for sticking with this issue.
I appreciate the prose version, but I'm sure you can upload an image of a data table into your Substack post.

Oh dang, I didn't even think about SEO. I definitely agree it's weird.
